...of Colton Tower. That's where this view of a couple of SP trains was shot from. U28C 7154 has just received a proceed signal and is about to cross the Santa Fe and head west towards West Colton. The two geeps on a short two-car local will wait for an eastbound to crossover, west of the diamonds, before they can proceed west. In actuallity, the three U28C's and lone SD35 are a light power move, probably helpers off of an ore train that originated on the Eagle Mountain Railway. In the distance to the right, are the remnants of the former Colton roundhouse and the water tank still stands as well.
