Processpup
Snowdogs by the sea 2016 raied money for Martlets Hospice which is a charity that cares for people living through a terminal illness in and around Brighton & Hove.
Martlets teamed up with Wild in Art to fill the streets of Brighton & Hove with 44 giant Snowdogs individually decorated by artists and was generously sponsered by local businesses and organisations.
Wild in Art is dedicated to the promotion of art through the creation of mass participation public art events which bring art onto the streets for the enjoyment of all.
The Snowdogs were sold at auction on 6th December 2016 and the money raised went to help patient care at Martlets Hospice.
Processpup was designed by Josh Ford who creates art that focuses on repetition, replication and disorientation through the use of abstract pattern and colour.
This Snowdog wears colours inspired by colour printing process - which is what appealed to the Snowdog's sponser Lewes based printers Captive8.
The Snowman and The Snowdog is a 2012 animated short film. It is the sequel to The Snowman, and was created to mark the 30th anniversary of the original short film. The Snowman and The Snowdog is dedicated to John Coates (the film's producer, who died in September 2012) and features a new song called "Light the Night" by former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows. The Snowman and The Snowdog won the Televisual Bulldog Award 2013 in the Best Children's category.
