Elephant backend

Sculpted with 100% homegrown natural and hand dyed Suffolk wool. No wire armatures.

 

This girl is 9" tall x 15" long. I usually make my critters around 3" or 4" tall, but when I started the leg, I noticed that it kept getting larger and larger. The whole just wanted to be BIG. This took me 80 hours to complete and was a lot of fun. I researched pictures and videos to make sure I was sculpting as accurately as possible.
