IR WDM3A 16122 EMDs 70497 40060 stabled BTI 180318
A rose amongst two thorns! Ludhiana WDM3A 16122 and a couple the enemy (ABR WDG4D and BGKT WDP4B, both of which interferred with my moves at one point or other) stabled at Bathinda Junction in the afternoon sun of Sunday 18th March 2018. 16122 later worked the 21:05 Bathinda - Varanasi Special Fare Special. The next day the WDP4B (40060) did the Kisan Express; leading me to believe the diagram is now part of the Barmer - Kalka link, although if so, possibly involving more than a day sat idle (and idling!) at Bathinda.
Although my original idea for the day went in the bin at 06:55 when a, by then fully expected, WDP4 turned up on the Kisan Express I had a great day just winging it. The only fly in the ointment being one of Abu Road's last two Baldie WDM3As, 14029, turning up on the Ahmedabad - Jammu Tawi - Ahmedabad (to/from Firozpur) and me unable to cover it because of one train being missed by minutes at Bathinda (due to sloppy late running) and the next being cancelled!
