Ah, chai, just what you need at five in the morning! Especially after an all too predicatble riot with checking out of the hotel (Nova Cow Residency, btw): I wanted to pay for the room the previous night but was refused three times of asking "it'll be fine in the morning, sir". Predictably it wasn't - card machine didn't work and they couldn't break a Rs2000 note, clearing me out of all my change. My auto driver wasn't impressed with the issue being passed onto him. Otherwise the hotel was OK (well, apart from the key card not working and loo not flushing!).
A massive vat of tea on the boil and an old boy slurping it from the saucer like my granny used to do. Outside Rajkot Junction station on Tuesday 6th March 2018.
