Vatva WDM3A 18618 heads southwest from Navagadh with train 19119, the 10:40 Ahmedabad Jn - Somnath InterCity Express. Monday 5th March 2018.
I consider myself lucky to have avoided being inconvenienced by the EMD menace as this previously ALCo stronghold had seen an invasion of WDP4Ds on some of the Passenger workings, as well as the established EMD link on 11463/4/5/6 (Jabalpur - Somnath Express). Trains 59421/2/3/4 and 19569/70 had recently acquired considerably less interesting traction - an inevitable and deeply saddening sign of the times.
