Very pleased to see this link is now back to Alco power (after reports of it being an WDP4), meaning I had a very productive day that went completely to plan (a minor miracle these days): Moradabad Jn to Muazzampur Narayan Jn via Gajrula with GD WDM3A 16062 on train 15011, WDP1 15001 to Kotdwar and back to Najibabad Jn on the Garhwal Express for 11269 back to Moradabad. The early finish was most welcome too.
...although another implication of 14114 being an Alco was that the rest of the link involving 14120, the Dehradun - Kathgodam, would be Alco as well - I'd previously given up trying to get Kathgodam in as just too difficult or plagued with rancid EMD uncertainty: I hurredly booked a sleeper coach reservation on 14120 for the next day (still available!) and set the alarm clock for 03:00...
