RSZ GE U20C 01-110 overhaul Kabwe Works 240908
01-110 is a long nose, pointy cabbed General Electric from Zambian Railways' first batch of 26 U20Cs received in 1967. It's the last one in service and is seen here, inside the Kabwe works on Wednesday 24th September 2008, undergoing a protracted overhaul. It was apparently awaiting a refurbished power unit but had been so since at least November 2006! Let's hope the veteran 'U-Boat' beast has made it back.
