Peregrine Falcon Manchester 1st July 2011 077

I made this image late in the evening when Manchester Cathedral was cast in deep shadow. The bird was near impossible to see. I have darkened the outer parts of the image to increase the gothic feel and spotlight the majesty of this bird. Taken with my old battered Canon 20D at ISO1600. Sigma 300f2.8 lens and 2X non reporting converter.
