9P1A2525 Peregrine falcon (female) Manchester
Still out of action albeit that I did some peregrine watching in Manchester yesterday and returned home with an extremely painful foot. The image above is similar to one posted months ago. It is not quite as sharp as the other but in my view it is still sharp enough...to my eye at least. The other image is shown here www.flickr.com/photos/24940353@N03/34748831301/in/photost... The bird is sharp as a pin and despite my physical limitations as a photographer and the limitations created by the location, I thought the camera lens combination worked well on nailing a very fast bird small in the frame against a busy background. For those curious as to the location the white gable wall bottom left of the image is around Oldham Road/Poland St, Manchester.
