LS&I greens in 2023
Since I started going up to LS&I eight years ago, rumors persisted annually that the end was near for the remaining fleet of U30C and C30-7s which typically performed fill-in duties when business was up or a set of SACX4400Cws were down for maintenance.
With three additional AC4400CWs delivered a few months ago and two of the three in service now, this may be the year they see less backup service than normal.
