Interlocking Salt and Pepper Set. Sterling silver and nickel silver. 1982
This was my first piece from graduate school at Indiana University. In 1985, it was purchased from the Drawing and Small Sculpture show at Ball State University for the collection of the Ball State University Art Museum, now the David Owsley Museum of Art. I never got a good photograph of the underside, showing the key catch mechanism, and was unable to borrow it back until just recently. It only took 24 years.
