Censorship

Overnight, the Australian censorship department's website was hacked. It brought me much joy.

 

Incase you aren't aware, the f*ckwit politicians in Australia, in the thralls of a select few religious lobbyist groups are trying to block any content deemed "immoral" under the guise of stopping kiddie porn from being seen by children. They're trying to actually go as far as China and get "immoral" sites blocked at the ISP level. Yeah, we join with places like Saudi Arabia, that great bastion of freedom of speech in our net censorship endeavors.

 

Most Australian politicans can't even understand the difference between a "blog" and a "forum". That's how bad these incompetents are.

 

So far, their "secret" but leaked blacklist bans a queensland dentist, an abortion website and a whole bunch of regular porn. Who's to say in the future they'll block *anything* they don't politically agree with or worse?
