Oakleaf Hydrangea.

I planted these in a horrible spot (in our front foundation planting) to better protect them from the #^$&*@ deer. They only bloom on the tips of branches formed last season, so if any get bitten off over the winter, I lose those blooms. The shrub itself looks like a hot mess most of the year. Truly a back-garden beauty. But if I move mine, I'll be feeding the deer.
