Banjosa Lake is an artificial lake and a tourist attraction 20 kilometers from the city of Rawalakot in District Poonch in Azad Kashmir. It is located at an altitude of 1981 meters (6499 ft).

 

Banjosa Lake is most accessible during the summer months; the weather is generally pleasant but becomes colder from October through March. The area's natural beauty is at its peak in April to June.
