Add a chunky cardi with a button-up shirt and pencil skirt
Yes, I am missing the pencil skirt! I have a children's photo shoot which inevitably involves me on the floor and a skirt just wont work. So, I substituted jean. Had to. I love this button down with it's ruffle cuffs and collar. And I gave the whole thing a southwestern edge with my boots and belt and turquoise jewelry. Overall, it is a really comfortable outfit. And I think if I substituted a denim pencil skirt for the jeans it would still work great.

Liz Claiborn Jeans: online (and I LOVE them! They fit in all the right spots!!!)
Cowboy boots: Had for about 5 years
Belt: came with some old pair of pants
Turquoise necklaces and earrings: made by grandmother and grandfather
