Goodbye Rapid Radio
On its last day of trading in E17 we say goodbye to Rapid Radio, a local electrical retailer. A victim of rising property prices the landlord has sold the building for redevelopment forcing the shop to close. A shame as the staff are excellent and I've had several items from them over the years. It is likely the upper floors will become residential and, in theory, downstairs must remain as retail but I'll not be surprised if the new owner eventually succeeds in a full residential conversion.
