Rotterdam - Dining Room

The Rottderdam had two dining rooms. When it was in transatlantic service, one was for first class and the other for tourist class. The dining room was on one of the lower decks, and had no windows, as was the custom on transatlantic ships.

Cruise ships are one class for dining and most other activiites, though there are great differences in the cabins. Now (2009), most cruise ships have specialty dining rooms at extra cost, in addition to the main dining room.
