Hong Kong Hilton Hotel

The Hong Kong Hilton Hotel was in Victoria, near the center of the business district. It was opened in 1961, and closed in 1995 to make way for a larger development.

Like many tourists, I had suits made in Hong Kong. My contacts recommended a tailor in the Hong Kong Hilton, in one of the shops at the top of the wall. I made several trips to the Hilton. In one trip, I was an involuntary witness to a demonstration promoted by Red Chinese agitators - part of the "Hong Kong 1967 riots."
