Boulogne - Catamaran
I crossed the English Channel from Boulogne (France) to Folkestone (England) on the SeaCat, the world's largest catamaran. It could carry 80 cars and 450 passengers, but was not full. The ship traveled at 37 knots (42 mph, 68 kph). The trip took 65 minutes. The Channel Tunnel had opened earlier in 1994, but for some reason I did not consider it.
