Inside the lid is Nut depicted.

On the interior, a scene from the ninth hour of the Book of Gates: Neseret, "The fiery one", a giant snake with the Sons of Horus standing in her coils, spews her fiery breath at the enemies of Osiris.

And Tashepenkhonsu depicted with various gods and being purified by a priest.
