Ardtoe

Ardtoe is at the east end of Ardnamurchan (about 3 miles from Acharacle).

 

I've always liked this picture as it shows crofting in action (the hay stacks) in a way I doubt is practised in Ardtoe any more.

 

Note in the background how the islands of Eigg and Rum are superimposed on one another.
