SPEND A NIGHT AT THE PARK!
How would you like to experience safari camping without having to travel to Africa? Pack up your "trunk" for a sleepover adventure at the Park, where you'll relax in comfy tents surrounded by the sounds of wildlife. Slumber to the rumblings of lions and elephants, and then wake up to the morning courtship calls of African crowned cranes.
Our campground overlooks the Park's African Plains field exhibit, where you can observe giraffes, black rhinos, antelope, gazelles, and many other denizens of Africa going about their daily business, just as they would in the wild. Are you game?
Roar & Snore safari sleepovers are offered throughout most of the year in a variety of themed programs. Programs include camp activities and an after-hours look at the wild life of our animals, guided walks, a campfire program, delicious dinner and hot breakfast, a souvenir T-shirt, and the unique opportunity to experience the Safari Park at night.
All Ages Sleepovers
Our newest Roar & Snore, called Casual Camper, allows a less-structured camping experience for those campers desiring free time during their stay.
Adults-only Sleepovers
Oh, what a night! Discover the secret lives of animals through the kind of information we can only share with no children around! Special behind-the-scenes moments, evening hikes, and face time with critters fierce and friendly add a whole new meaning to the term nightlife. Must be 21 or older to attend.
Family Night Sleepovers
More fun than a barrel of monkeys, a pride of lions, or a crash of rhinos, Roar & Snore Family Night sleepovers offer different themes and plenty of family friendly activities including crafts, evening walks around the Park, and special face-to-face encounters with animal ambassadors. These unique adventures are designed for families with children ages 6 and older. A number of evenings are reserved for families with children ages 10 and older. We'll see you for some fantastic family fun!
Junior Sleepovers
Come get tucked in for a special overnight adventure, and experience the Safari Park with your wee ones! Families with young children will go wild for our art projects, tours, and campfire games created especially for families with children ages 6 and younger. Bedtime is so much more fun when you're surrounded by our animal friends and their families, whether you're a cub, calf, or toddler.
