Now that the female is in the nest most of the time we do not see her as often but every once in awhile she will fly off. this image was captured on her return. I is so impressive to me just how attentive he is to his mate and is never far away I have grown to love them. Yesterday I got a scare as I saw the male lying or appeared to be lying on the ground and I thought maybe he had been attacked ! I opened the door and he did not move but as I got closer he finally flew to my great relief. They are such a gift and blessing !!
