Ready To Pounce !!!!!!
The little owlets have very keen eyes and are always watching for an unsuspecting insect to come by. This little guy was ready and he made the leap . They become great hunters at a very young age and once they have learned to hunt well they will leave the burrow. These three little owlets where being raised by I believe Dad not absolutely sure but Dad is lighter in color than Mom and for the past two weeks I have not seen her anywhere. He has done a great job and is always on guard to protect his young. Truly amazing parents .
