This sweet little chick was all alone waiting for his first meal of the day when this image was captured. He looked so vulnerable and I would love to have just been able to pick him up ,even if it were just for a second One can not help but think that with each passing day he will get a little stronger and hopefully reach adulthood.
It was an amazing experience for sure to spend a few hours with these young tern babies and their parents !!!
