The beautiful frigate bird is often seen flying high in the skys. He gets his food from other birds such as gulls and also will feed on small fish that are near the top of the water. They never actually land on the water. Fascinating birds to see and wonderful to photograph especially during the courting season when the male's pouch inflates and becomes a vibrant red color.. Very handsome indeed.
