Showing Off All His Beauty !!!
This image was taken on one of our visits to High Island in Texas. The island in the spring is full of nesting birds and there is always lots of activity. This one morning a snowy egret flew in. So self assured and so pleased with himself he proceeded to put on a wonderful display for his hope to be mate. It was an aerial show like I had never seen before He would soar high in the sky come back and do it all over again. What a talent and what a beautiful ballet it was. If this did not win the heart of his mate then I don't know what would. I felt privileged to have seen this exciting courtship display.
