Little Beauty !!!!

This is an image of a female purple throated mountain gem. These little birds have been named well as they are little gems for sure. Their color and incredible brilliance make them a nature; living gem. This was taken high in the mountains of Costa Rica and there are many species found there that you do not see in other parts of the country. always thrilled to see a new species.
