My favorite birds

Charley Harper was an artist from Ohio who had a unique way of portraying nature in simple geometric forms. I was inspired by his art to create this wall hanging of my favorite birds using the Theo Moorman technique of handweaving. It hangs near the window which looks out on my birdfeeders. (top to bottom: tufted titmouse, chickadee, cardinal)
