not there yet...

In this iteration, I hung a pine branch in front of the blue drop cloth. Distance from the lens and choice of aperture are critical elements to creating an interesting background. This iteration might be a bit better than just blue, but I've got a vision of how I'd like things to look and there's a plan and a lot of trial and error before I get there.
