2025_365-317 (#5431) - Restorative Light
I had to be up sharp this morning to be in Guildford for an early appointment with a dermatology consultant. For years I've had a dark purple/black mole on my arm which has been very slowly getting bigger. It was last assessed in 2021 and I wasn't especially worried until my GP said I needed an urgent referral. The consultant has reassured me and said it's unlikely to be sinister but to be safe it will be removed and analysed.
During the afternoon my brain was still buzzing and as it was such a lovely warm sunny day we decided on a local walk. I know nature has a calming effect but it amazed me just how much better I felt after a short walk with my camera. The light was wonderful, the air still and the atmosphere very restorative. Even a squirrel stopped to say hello!
