"WE ARE PULSE !! "............EXPLORE 6/13/16
I awakened this morning to the news that 50 of my fellow Americans had been gunned down and killed (and another 53 injured) by a lone gunman at the PULSE bar in Orlando, Florida.
The following is already know: He was a young American man of Pakistani descent, born in the City of New York and now living in a Florida town about a two hour drive away from where he drove to systematically kill as many people as he could. Several minutes into his murder spree , he called police and told them that he was pledging his allegiance to the leader of ISIS (Isil). Recently he had reportedly become enraged in his (father's presence), when he saw two men kissing one another in Miami, Florida. His wife, from whom he was divorced seven years ago, tells authorities he was violent towards her. He reportedly had one son. He has expressed sympathy for the radical muslim sector and praised former terrorists.
He went into the predominately gay club at approximately 2:00 a.m. this morning, apparently armed with an assault type rifle and a hand gun. He shot his way past the personnel at the door and proceeded to kill at least fifty persons and injury at least 53 other, several of whom remain in critical condition.
My thought, prayers and best wishes go out to the victims, their families, the LGBT Community of Orlando, Florida and to all who are or will be impacted by this senseless Terrorism Murder.
We stand united against such violence! We stand with all of our citizens, regardless of their race, religion, gender, national origin, or sexual persuasion. We will not be intimidated!!
