Turkey

Istanbul is a fascinating, culturally and historically rich city and a great place to visit. In 2004 we were walking along some of the 'back streets' of the huge city as I noticed this small group of boys approaching out of the sunshine. My initial intent was to capture them and show the vibrant colors of the clothing they were wearing, but the sun angle (and no HDR) did not allow me to do so. Instead, this silhouette of the young men was the result....and I am somewhat pleased with the results.

I especially like the lady looking out her door to watch the boys walking by.
