Beach garbage Loango National Park in Gabon

Loango's miles of empty white sand beaches are only spoilt by the amount of garbage that lies strewn along the strand line. Rubbish dropped from offshore oil rigs, passing ships or simply cast in to the sea or a river by people elsewhere along Africa's west coast or around the world. As soon as one lot is cleared up another lot arrives.
