VMA-311 Prep
We were treated this past week to a detachment of aircraft and ground support personnel from VMA-311 "Tomcats" doing some off-site training at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. It was very cool watching the plane captains tend to their charges and do all the pre-flight/recovery checks and guide the aircraft out toward the taxiway.
