"Old Abe" - The Wisconsin War Eagle

Cabinet card of "Old Abe", an American Bald Eagle, that belonged to the 8th Regiment, Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry ( Civil War). Old Abe went into battle with them, and flew overhead as the battle raged, screaming his encouragement.
