Stephen Wright, August 9, 1864

CDV by Pine & Bell, Troy, New York. The verso is signed "I am your's, Stephen Wright, Aug. 9, 1864". A search of the 1860 census found no less than 8 men named Stephen Wright, in Troy New York.

 

Although there were a number of both Pine and Bell families in that area, I did not find any that were listed as photographers in either the 1860 or 1870 census.
