117/52 - Our Oasis
I love the desert in the summer! Most people dread and hate the 100+ temps but the rewards of the most gorgeous sunsets on Earth make up for it. It is monsoon season for us so there are usually afternoon clouds and brilliant color sunsets. This is the view from our back porch. Unfortunately there are some high power lines that streak across my sunset view. Normally I don’t notice them until I want to capture and share my beautiful view. I am so fortunate that the land shown here will never be developed. The land is owned by the state and is granted use to the University of Arizona for research. It is a very popular area to go 4Wheeling, hiking or horseback riding.
