(#1 Threshold) City Sidewalks
After our detour taking the Dempster Highway in Yukon Territory, we continued on the Klondike Highway to Dawson City. I love the welcome signs along the Alcan and other roadways in these remote places. This was one of my favorites. Dawson City was a cute little town. All the buildings were painted bright colors and the sidewalks were plank boardwalks. When we first arrived early in the morning there were very few people on the boardwalks. Later in the day we stopped for lunch at a quaint little cafe. I liked the umbrellas on the patio.
