Bluebeard
I was working out in the yard the other day. It was overcast and a good day for trimming some bushes and clearing out some of the brush and weeds that tends to collect underneath. Couldn’t resist going inside to get my camera to shoot the gorgeous flowers blooming on the Mexican Red Bird of Paradise. This is one of my new additions to the garden. I love the brilliant colors especially at sunset. I always love the blue flowers on the Caryopteris bush too. It is usually buzzing with bees and other insects as soon as the flowers appear. I didn't realize how many blooms it had on it until I trimmed back the other bushes surrounding it!
