(#42) The Sands of Time

Mesquite Flats Sand Dunes is one of my favorite stops in Death Valley National Park. I love to walk barefoot in the sand as I explore the dunes. I’ve only been to Death Valley in the Winter so walking barefoot is not uncomfortable. The temperature while we were there was in the 70’s. Not bad for a February day! I converted this shot to b/w to better show the light and shadow play on the sand and the dunes curve to the wind.
