(#25) Beads and Wire
We went to Big Bend National Park in west Texas on our visit a few weeks ago. It was a beautiful place. Unfortunately it was raining quite a bit and we could not get out and enjoy hiking and exploring.
We drove down to the Rio Grande River to the international border at Boquillas Crossing. Just on the other side of the Rio Grande lays Mexico. On the bank of the river was a Mexican native with his donkey and dog. He was chopping wood and his boat was on the bank of the river. He would cross over to the United States and place trinkets for sale. Beside the trinkets was a price list and a coffee can for payment.
