(#43) White Sands Sunrise
I’ve been wanting to go to White Sands National Monument in New Mexico for many years. We made a short stop at sunrise on our return trip from Texas. I was not disappointed. The sand was pure white with a dusting of snow. We were waiting at the gate pre-dawn before the park opened. The sunrise over the sand dunes was gorgeous! Many people left their mark on the sand and in the snow with hearts, names and dates.
