Rustling Leaves

I know, it's too early to be thinking of rustling leaves---at least for me it is! I couldn't resist making these, however. These would be a perfect everyday pair of earrings, and they're so lightweight, considering thier size.

They have been constructed of sterling, fine, and copper wires. The frame has been soldered and then wrapped with lots of tiny copper beads, and then woven with the wire "veining". The overall effect is stunningly organic!

They hang from a pair of decorated, secure ear-wires. Regular, decorated hook-style ear-wires can be substituted if you prefer.

They have been oxidized and then hand-buffed to a matte finish.

Measurement: 2 1/8 inches from the tops of ear-wires

Weight: 2 grams per earring---lightweight!
