Weekend in Japuir

An exotic, spicy pair of earrings to take you to a far away place. They are surprisingly lightweight for being so intricate. The colors are right up your alley for autumn too.

The unique frames were hand-shaped, soldered, hammered, and then delicately woven with fine silver wire. The gem pallette includes the following stones: Israeli cut smoked topaz briolettes, rhodolite and hessonite garnet micro-faceted rondelles.

They are suspended from a pair of handmade and secure ear-wires. Each one is decorated with a single stamped Hill Tribe rondelle bead. I try to make all of my clasps, ear-wire, etc by hand before buying pre-made. It adds a special touch to all creations.

All metals used are sterling silver. This pair has been oxidized and then hand and machine polished to a nice shine.

Measurement: 2 1/4 inches from the tops of ear-wires

Weight: 2 grams per earring
