Virtual Pilot 3D Review - BUYER BEWARE of scam
Virtual Pilot 3D is a program that is stolen from the FREE open source simulator Flight Gear (www.flightgear.org). The Virtual Pilot group simply took the freely available program/source code, rebranded the program and are selling it.
To make matters worse, they use stolen photos from Airliners.net, FlightGear.org, various home simulator builders and even NASA to make the product appear legit. The photo above, that I saw on Facebook, was stolen from a well known sim builder who doesn't even use Flight Gear!!! Another photo coincidentally contains software that I wrote a few years ago, which is how I first came to realize this was a major scam.
If you are even remotely considering buying Virtual Pilot 3D, go to FlightGear.org and see for yourself... the program is free and these thieves are merely exploiting an open source product. This group has run the same scam under various names so if you find an "unknown" PC based flight simulator that isn't Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane or Prepar3d I strongly urge you to compare the screenshots to FlightGear.org before purchasing.
