Cat Pictures Uploaded to Flickr

Pie chart showing the relative (and absolute) numbers of pictures I've uploaded to Flickr for a given cat from c2008 to 2020 (I joined Flickr in 2008 but really started uploading only in 2010). The percent is based on the number of pictures in total divided by the number of months the cat was alive.

Assam, who lived for 18 1/2 years (plus a bit more) has relatively few pictures because about half of her life I didn't have a digital camera and film was expensive (and, she was a black cat making it difficult to take her picture sometimes). Norio and Tigger have lots of pictures because they are the most gregarious and are around when I have easy access to digital cameras. Yuba is currently the lowest due to hiding for a lot of the day in his various cat houses. I'm trying to take more of his pictures... I've been taking a lot of pictures of Bonkers recently, which is one reason why he has the greatest number (only barely more than Tigger) of pictures posted to Flickr.

The number of pictures (relative or absolute) shouldn't be taken as an indicator of which cat is my favorite. I love(d) all of the cats but in different ways as each cat had a very different personality from the others. The number of pictures, as I mentioned, is due to availability of both camera and cat.

I have an album on Flickr for each cat. I used the number of pictures in each album as the raw value. Some pictures have multiple cats, so that type of picture is counted for each cat in the picture.
