Mauve and Black Snow in Hokkaido

Edited MODIS Terra image (250m/pixel) of Japan from tomorrow (given the time-zone differences). Snow covers most if not all of Hokkaido and the eastern part of Tohoku in Honshu. This image is the delta between the 721 and 367 images then inverted then enhanced. In other words, the colors have almost no relation to reality (other than some nice-looking mauve snow in Hokkaido) even if the shapes are unchanged.
