Caledonian Sleeper locomotive 92 038 draws to a halt in platform 15 at Euston station, 16 minutes early, with the previous evenings 20.45 departure from Inverness (train 1M16). The 16 coach train also conveyed a portion from Aberdeen (depart 20.26) and Fort William (depart 19.50).
Whenever I see this train arrive in London, I always think of the passengers who have joined the previous evening at stations on the Fort William portion. Joining the train at small stations, located in gorgeous Scottish scenery, and alight at the stark concrete and steel environs of Euston station!
